Hi there!I’m Courtney, the traveler, writer, and curious soul behind Cee’s Chapters.

I believe the world is full of stories just waiting to be experienced. Whether it’s hiking a quiet trail, getting lost in a city I’ve never been to, or sitting still with a new perspective, I believe in exploring the world, leaving no trace, and always learning something new along the way.​​

My solo travel journey started off after a life-changing trip to Mexico. When that adventure ended I felt that I was missing something. I didn't fully immerse myself in a different culture, I felt that I was missing out, which then sparked something in me. I came back home and realized I didn’t want to stop traveling and immersing myself in other cultures.

A couple of years later, I spent a summer living in Berlin, Germany in 2017. That experience opened up my mind. Since then, I’ve been chasing new experiences while checking off bucket-list destinations, and learning from each place.

​

These days, I’m based in Colorado, where I work in education and spend my free time planning new adventures—sometimes abroad and sometimes right here in Colorado. I’m all about new adventures, solo travel, soaking it all in, and curling up with a great book whenever I get the chance.

I take great pride in my independence and love my life as a boy cat mom to Oakley and Berkeley.
